First Question: Have you or someone you know worked with us?
Over the past 55 years, we have employed hundreds of people. Sisters, Brothers, Mothers and even grandmothers. Generations of Islanders have grown up within our doors, and we have enjoyed every minute of being part of your lives. We would love to see you again so please join us on Saturday September 28th from 8-11pm in our lower level dining room for a Meet and Greet night . There will be mussels and munchies and drinks to wet your whistle all while you reminisce and laugh of days gone by while supporting a great cause.
Second Question: Have you or someone you know been affected by Breast Cancer?
As the summer comes to a close and we soon end our 55th season, many wonder how we do what we do. A seasonal operation that has lasted through the times, and incredibly enough still a family owned and operated business. Although The Nicholson & MacRae families are not related, our past, present and futures are connected. The struggles and triumphs of one family affect the other, only like it would to family. As it is with many people, our “family” has been touched by breast cancer.
This year on October 6th, the Nicholson family will be running in The CIBC run for the Cure. so please come out on September 28th, catch up with your old friends and give generously to support The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s dream of a creating a future free of breast cancer. Donations will be accepted at the door and tax receipts will be provided at a later date.
If you are unable to attend and would still like to sponsor the Nicholson Family please click here to donate on-line.
We hope to see many of our friends (past employees or not) so mark your calenders for Saturday September 28th!
