New Glasgow Lobster Suppers has been a part of life here on PEI since its beginning back in 1958 for both tourists and Islanders. We pride ourselves in creating a memorable experience that brings families back over the generations. In the kitchen, we offer a great learning environment either for those just entering the workforce or those with experience behind them. Working with our Red Seal Chef Michael Forrest, you are then teamed up with current employees who will guide you through the ins and outs of a day at NGLS. We believe in freshness, supporting local, and providing a quality product every time. We are about home-cooked food and take you back to the basics. You will learn how to make things from scratch, how to work as a team, and how to maintain that quality in a high-pressure environment.
Front of the house, you do not just deliver the food or drink. You don’t just seat the guests or handle their transactions, you meet new people. You listen, you help, you let them in on the greatest little spot that “only Islanders” know about. You provide the experience, you set the mood not to mention the bar when they compare their visit to other places on Island or off. And we want to help you learn how to be attentive, how to deliver our experience no matter how demanding the day is.
