Lobster Cutter

Start times vary from day to day but your Mornings will always be free as we are only open for evening service.

Duties Include:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Follow established safety procedures and quality standards
  • Cut lobster using a quality predetermined method in a timely manner
  • Food preparation, including the shelling of lobster for chowder
  • Ensure quality and size of lobster
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meets standards
  • Keep the work area, utensils, and equipment in a clean, sanitized state
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food poisoning and the methods of its prevention
  • Control waste and spoilage
  • Assist all team members whenever needed
  • Other responsibilities as required
  • Clean work station at end of shift
  • Be a Team player
  • Eager to learn
  • Not afraid to ask questions
  • Ability to follow directions ( written and spoken)
  • Hard worker
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends
  • Available to work part time till end of the season – October
