It’s National Waitstaff Day!

In honor of today being National Wait staff day, I thought I would give quotas to all those hard working dedicated servers out there!

Many of us have worked in a  restaurant or bar at some point in our lives and know how exhausting it can be to be on the top of your game ALL THE TIME. You put the smile on your face and bring your A game, keep your cool and provide a great experience.

Yep it’s hard.

A good server should not just deliver your food but provide a friendly environment, good conversation and of course excellent food. A sign of a good server is not how many plates they can balance on one hand, it’s the positive attitude they bring to the table. Even if the server may be a little slow or perhaps clumsy – as long as they were polite and truly cared about your experience – That’s what makes a good server a real treasure.

It’s a hard job and not everyone is cut out to roll with the punches and handle difficult situations with a smile that say the customer is always right. Those who are, try their best to ensure you have a good experience at any cost. So if you are eating out today, (although we are not open) I would still encourage you to express your gratitude for those servers who go above and beyond. (I’m sure a generous tip would be gratefully accepted.haha)

Thank you to all our staff who try their best day after day! Happy National Wait staff Day!New Glasgow Lobster Suppers StaffIn honor of today being National Wait staff day, I thought I would give quotas to all those hard working dedicated servers out there!
