Behind the scenes part 2

Welcome to the evening hours…lots of work has already happened before you arrive for your meal but this is the team that pulls it all together.

Our evening Kitchen staff includes Head Cook Misty-lynn Caseley returning for her 2nd season. Misty is in charge of our non lobster entrees making sure that we use the freshest of product available and preparing  it to perfection. Working alongside her  are returning line cooks Jonathan Horracks and Simon Dauphinais, both of which are dedicated to the quality of product and presentation of every entree that leaves their kitchen.

Cooking lobsters & mussels is not an easy job especially in the heat of the summer when you are dealing with hot water, steam and a large demand. Our Lobster Cooks Jesse Palmer and Isaac Peters proved themselves more than capable last season and are back to do it again this year. Feel free to pop in the side door and say hello and sneak a peak at their pride and joy – THE LOBSTER POUND!

We are delighted to have long time employee Rhonda Black back this year to take charge of our salad/dessert station ensuring that every salad plate and every piece of pie is served up in style. Helping Rhonda and the rest of the team this year are Desiree Sampson and Amanda Deagle.

Our kitchen takes many people to make it run efficiently, from continuously baking the hot, fresh rolls to dishing out salads, cutting lobster and ensuring that every pot of coffee is fresh and hot, not to mention the endless amount of dishes that need to be sparkling clean.  We would like to welcome back many of our kitchen helpers as well as a few new faces to the New Glasgow family.

Our team can’t wait to WOW you with our down home cooking and prove why we are the best at what we do! Take the time to visit New Glasgow this summer and join us for a unique dining experience.
